Last year, I participated in the CG project for the 8th anniversary of Contra: Return, being responsible for the early concept design, key frame refinement, and the integration and optimization of the overall final effects. This was my first time leading a project in its entirety, which was quite a challenge for me. Despite the arduous tasks, I was fully immersed in the process throughout. Especially during the early concept phase, I deeply understood the core value of visual storytelling for an artist. Though there are some regrets about the final outcome of the work, this experience has brought me great gains. I am extremely grateful for the help from my teammates and the guidance from OldGun-K.
